Part time photographer dreaming of being a travel photographer!

Currently running a Canon 50D and a Lumix LX-5. Thinking about a 5D mkII for 2012 but I think I'll rationalise and building up my glass first before worrying about a new body.

Did the Silk Road trip from Aug to Oct 07 from Beijing, through to Western China, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Took plenty of photos and I'm still working through them!

We hit Malaysia & Singapore again in May 08. and we've made a couple of smaller trips interstate and across to New Zealand South Island in the interim.

We've not long been back from Japan, South Korea and China/Hong Kong in March 2010 for 2 months and we've also just come back from up for Vietnam (start of 2011), and ramping up to NZ and Japan again for later on in 2011.

2012 is the dreaded 40th so we're probably hitting Malaysia and Italy and Singapore for the F1 (which means a side trip to Croatia!)...more food and photos...what a tragedy.

I'm getting stuck right into editing and post-processing with CS5 at the moment and really enjoying the freedom the software gives me to produce what my mind's eye saw when I took the shot - I've since ditched CS5, gone for better compostiion and started using PS Elements instead.

I've given up on the Mac idea for a post-process machine now that M$ has finally developed an OS that is stable and actually works! Win7 64Bit and CS5 64Bit FTW!
