Apaixonei-me pela fotografia recentemente no verão de 2006, basicamente este novo "amor" começou numas férias na ilha de São Miguel, Açores, fotografei a linda Lagoa das Sete Cidades num dia de imenso nevoeiro, a foto ficou a meu ver na altura sem interesse, no entanto li algures uma técnica chamada hdr, segui o tutorial e achei que a foto ficasse relativamente melhor, abri uma conta no flickr e fiz o upload, passado poucos dias comecei a receber muitos elogios e isso deu-me força para continuar a disparar.

A paixão foi-se intensificando e hoje a fotografia é meu principal hobbie. Com o tempo algumas das minhas fotos foram convidadas para fazerem parte de revistas, folhetos, livros, exposições, para compra e até surgiram em anúncios de tv. Não creio que tenha um estilo definido, mas gosto imenso de fotografar paisagens e tenho também uma queda por manipulação digital. Não possuo um equipamento profissional de fotografia, mas penso que isso não quer dizer nada, pois a "famosa" fotografia que tirei no inicio foi tirada com uma pequena compacta. Fell in love with photography recently in the summer of 2006, basically this new "love" started on holiday on the island of Sao Miguel, Azores, i photographed the beautiful Lagoon of Seven Cities (Lagoa das Sete Cidades) in a day of immense fog, the photo became my see with no interest, however I read somewhere a technique called hdr, follow the tutorial and thought the picture stayed relatively better, I opened an account at flickr and did the upload, past few days I began to receive many compliments and it gave me strength to continue shooting.

The passion intensified and today photography is my main hobby. Over time some of my photos have been invited to be part of magazines, pamphlets, books, exhibitions, shopping and even appeared in TV ads. I do not think that has a defined style, but I like is to photograph landscapes and also like digital manipulation. I do not have a professional photography equipment, but I think it means nothing because the "famous" photo I took at the beginning was taken with a small compact, here's the link
