Rui de Freitas nasceu em Alcântara, Lisboa em 1982. Estudou Relações Internacionais no ISCSP e concluiu o Curso Profissional de Fotografia no IPF em 2009. É neste momento um artista desempregado, trabalhou para e com a MTV Portugal, Rua De Baixo e diversas companhias de teatro, incluindo o Teatro da Garagem e a Companhia do Chapitô. Em conjugação com diversos projectos pessoais também fotografa para o Colectivo TXL, do qual é um dos membros fundadores.

Rui de Freitas was born in Alcântara, Lisbon on 1982. He studied International Relations in ISCSP and completed the Professional Photography Course in IPF on 2009. He is now a starving photographer and has worked for and with MTV Portugal, Rua De Baixo and several theatre companies including Teatro da Garagem and Companhia do Chapitô.
Along with many personal projects he also does work for the Colectivo TXL, as he is one of the founding members.
