Enjoying my 5th decade on the planet, and trying to capture as much of it as I can before it slips away for good.

I got into photography early in life, inspired by my Grandfather. Eventually I ended up with his Kodak "Retina" 35mm SLR camera, and then in 1992, I got re-invigorated with photography and migrated to a Yashica 35mm SLR unit, and then onto my Sony DSC-S75 digital (ca early 2002), and then to my present setup, the Nikon D50 & D80 digital in 2007. I have the 70-300 Zoom on the D50, and the wide-angle on the D80, so I can carry both camera's and not worry about lens changes.

Sometimes I use my 3rd eye to shoot with, but mostly I have to get my brain onto the right side to see a good shot developing. Then the hardware usually malfunctions, although these Nikon's are pretty fast, not like my slow old Sony unit. Kick around my pics a bit and don't be afraid to comment, good or bad, I have thick skin, I won't mind either way.
