Profiles are always difficult to write as my thoughts seem to always be in flux, so take this as a snapshot of my current thoughts.

My interest right now is using photography to investigate the realm between percepts and concepts. For me religion, art, and science are means to a deeper understanding and should be based on our ability to relate concrete reality with conceptual thinking. All these forms of investigation are important as long as they remain undogmatic.

Most of my artistic focus has been on architecture, but is slowly transforming into photography as well. For me they are directly related and are inverse processes exploring space/time: one concept to reality and the other reality to concept.

Thanks for taking time to check out my photostream and read some of my thoughts. If you see something you like don't hesitate to comment. I do enjoy critical comments that help me better my craft, so if you think an image could be improved please share your thoughts on those images too.

"I discovered Ryan's photostream only recently. But I already got addicted. His ability to turn normal street scenes into pieces of art is immense. Especially light and shadows are his most remarkable signs! If you read this testimonial I suppose it's nothing new to you. I bet you are also as fascinated as someone could be. Taking time to scroll through an entire photostream doesn't happen very often usually. But I can tell you, do it, it's for free! Alternatively you could also go to see a photo exhibition, but it's far easier here. So enjoy Ryan's stream for god's sake!"
