Giggling Gnome's photostream

My name is Roxy and I run woofbark.etsy.com where I sell birch bark jewelry and gifts and also gigglinggnome.etsy.com where I sell photographs and recycled albums and paper crafts.

I live in a house that my husband and I built, whilst living in it, for the past 11 years. We run all of our electrical needs from solar panels in the back yard. Our house has slowly progressed. We are building it all out of pocket, so we don't have a mortgage, but this has caused us to go without many of the modern conveniences for a long time in the process. We lived there for 6 years before we got a refridgerator, and 9 years until we got running water and a shower! I figure I have probably hauled close to 10,000 gallon jugs of water in that time.

I have a regular day job, doing office work, with great benefits, but not much of a sense of accomplishment. Photography and making crafts is really giving me a nice mental boost.
