Rotary Club Apeldoorn ’t Loo is a service club that meets weekly for breakfast and is comprised of young, enthusiastic professionals and is active in fundraising and awareness campaigns for clean water and sanitation.

Amongst the successful programs in 2009 was the golf attraction on Queen’s Day in which the Dutch Royal family participated, and the annual Parkengolf tournament that was held in June. The theme for both of these events was “Sla een Slag voor Schoon Water” (Chip in for Clean Water) and featured a floating golf green in the Oranjepark in Apeldoorn.
A demonstration of simple and effective clean water techniques was built for both of the abovementioned events and which was later put on display in the “Nederlandse Watermuseum” (Dutch Water Museum) between July and November 2009.

In 2009 Rotary Apeldoorn ’t Loo entered into a cooperation agreement with Aqua4All which results in a doubling of funds in support of three Aqua4All projects.

On March 26th 2010 Rotary Apeldoorn ’t Loo organized “Wandelen voor Water” (Walk for Water) in which 12 primary schools from Apeldoorn (more than 700 children) participated.
