Hello sweet friends!

I am so glad you stopped by for a visit. You are most welcome! Shall we go into the garden and enjoy tea and cookies while I tell you a little bit about myself? I am a wife to my dear husband of 23 years and a momma to my sweet son whom I homeschool. I adore my precious son! We have three darling doggies, Miss Pearl, Mr. Poppy, and Mr. Toby. I love the Lord Jesus, my sweet little family and my dear friends.

I have quite a bit of fun decorating my cottage and making it a happy place to be. I love to listen to beautiful music and read, especially Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Gene Stratton Porter and Grace Livingston Hill. I also love crocheting, embroidery, cross-stitching, sewing, photography, organic cooking and baking, gardening and going antique shopping! I love vintage things and things made by hand! Pink is my favorite color!

I am so grateful for everyday the Lord gives me! I love living in the country, adding more roses and flowers to my garden, feeding the sweet song birdies that come to our feeders and watching their antics! So many simple pleasures to enjoy each day and so many things to love that the Lord has blessed us with!

I am recovering from my second open-heart surgery 11/30/11, and I thank the Lord I am doing well! I look forward to redecorating our family room with vintage finds in cheerful colors, and adding more vintage goodness to my entire Rose Cottage! :)
