Roots of Prosperity's photostream

Roots of Prosperity and the Center for Community Regeneration will empower communities to become more economically autonomous and environmentally conscious through implementation of sapling nursery programs and the real-world application of developing sustainable forestry practices. CCR will employ a diverse array of citizens to work for fair wages in the nursery and experimental forest. CCR will see that the resources extracted through its programs are sustainable, and able to be sold for-profit by the community. Within a relatively short period of time, each farmer will see a return on their original investment, which they will then have the ability to reinvest into their community and local environment.
