I've always been a bit of a snapper then for Father's Day 2009, my wife got me a Nikon D40 and thats when it really began! Getting to know how to use the camera properly (still learning) then additional lenses,then filters, a friend donating a tripod.
Last year I swapped my faithful D40 for a D90 which is a beauty of a camera!!
I probably take 10 times more photos than I actually use!!
I find myself constantly seeing shots when I'm out driving much to the annoyance of my wife and drivers behind me
....I particularly like a nice cloudy skyscape :)
Joining Flickr has helped me hone and improve my skills although I think I still have some distance to go yet? I've also met some good friends who share a common interest :)
