Ronet Layters is a prodigious photographer whose work has been widely published on flickr, blurb and her own blog.
Her narrowly acclaimed work has attracted numerous awards from friends and family, including the coveted facebook like.
She has won many accolades from her peers, including the Perfect photographer (rule changed) - post 1 award 2 award, the my winners award, and the Black & White Art Awards -=Post 1, Award 4 award, to name but a few.
She is one of the infamous German Hoteliers (sorry, invitation only) an avant garde group of like minded photographers with their own style and set of values and she cites among her influences the work of Irving Penn, Ron Layters, Roger Mayne, Keksofant, Cartier Bresson, Dumbfunk and moxiee.
Much of her work reflects the decisive moment, as Ronet herself says, 'the moment when I, as photographer, choose to press the shutter.'
Though she prefers the black and white medium she is equally at home with a wide range of materials from slide film to Polaroids.
She prefers to shoot film because it makes her look hip and cool.
