Hello there, thanks for looking through my photos. I hope you like them. I am originally trained as a scientist but I began taking a real interest in digital photography a couple of years ago and purchased a Canon Powershot S2 IS. I loved this camera as it had a 12X optical zoom allowing a wide range of shots to be captured. In April 2007, I gave in to the temptation and moved into the world of SLR technology. I now use a Nikon D80 with a few different lenses, but mainly I shoot with the 18-200 VR lens. I don't have a macro lens (yet!), but I use a Sony DSC-W50 to shoot any up-close shots.
