I am fairly new to photography having owned a few point-and-shoot cameras I longed to take decent photos that don't look like standard holiday snaps.
I bought my first digital camera in 2001 a Canon Powershot G2. I then purchased a couple of National Geographic photography books to help understand what makes a great photo. From that point I have been going through peaks and troughs on quality of photos. Suffice to say I am still learning and it is extremely frustrating sometimes. But I do enjoy it even more now. The photos are mostly taken with the G2 or my SE W800i cameraphone.
The 4 Aug 2006 marks a new era where I have decided to upgrade to a Canon EOS 30D. At the same time I went for a Sony T30 so lets hope that I can start to utilise the 30D for better quality photos.
