I've so far lead a somewhat regular life. I am lucky to have great parents, I did fairly well in school, and had a decent amount of friends. I graduated college in '05 with a BFA and worked at an advertising agency until the big move to Texas.

Photography has always been an interest of mine. I've owned many cameras over the years, and even worked part-time in a photo lab for the better part of a decade, but it wasn't until I got my first SLR camera (a manual Vivitar 3800n) that I saw what I was missing out on. I bought a cheapie speedlight for it for about 20 dollars. After that, I had a Nikon Coolpix 5000, which was a pseudo-SLR digital camera. My latest is a Canon Digital Rebel XT, and I love it to death. I still use a fairly standard tripod that I purchased a number of years back. I have since equipped it with a 430EX speedlight and a Sigma bounce flash reflector. I tried my hand at manufacturing a reflector myself. It served its purpose for the task that I built it for, but it was already starting to fall apart after light usage.

I dig all sorts of music. My favorite genres are punk, hardcore, classic rock, and old-school hip-hop. I find that I can give almost every sort of sound a chance. I've been to countless shows to see local bands, but I've only seen one act in a really large venue. It was to see the Beastie Boys at the Nassau Coliseum a couple of years back, and they were awesome.

I find birds to be absolutely hilarious (if you can watch a pigeon walk around for longer than 2 minutes without being enamored with their clownish demeanor, you have no god damned soul). I don't drink or smoke. I love playing video games. My favorite colors are blue and orange.
