Hi,
Yes, My actual name is Ryan, I am 26 and am getting older all the time. Have always been interested in all things creative and now I'm a designer? Studied Art, Design, Multimedia and Web Development at College and graduated half way through last year.

In my former life I was a Baker/ Pastrychief of which has created a number neuroses and left me scarred for life. It was never what I really wanted to do but you get that.

I started playing around with Photoshop when my friend Lucky used to design flyers for a load of Drum + Bass gigs. I used love hanging out with him. I'd watch him do up a design then we'd go and sign off proofs at printers do some promo and rok up to the night all guns blazing.
In a way I owe alot of my style to him, though alot has come naturally. We both like to use high quality high res images in designs, which comes at a price. If you work with quality you must produce quality, which is what I learned early.

For a time I too fancied myself as a bit of photographer, I used to like using C41 grade film which produced really grainy Black + White prints which I used to push and pull in the lab myself and get interesting results. I liked shooting organic and indusrial shapes and figures, as well as live music.

Did a bit of Fashion Design for a while in the early naughties as a business venture with some mates, then going solo with the labels Metro Sexual, Czeck + Phenetiks all with their own niche markets and style. This didn't last as I found fashion to wanky which did my head in.

These days I am in Photoshop among other programs all day every day as apart of my work, which I love, though I'm not often editing or manipulating photos as such, more making interface elements and functional design which can get a bit corporate and grey at times. Though I am the only creative at my Company at the moment which has its own freedoms.

So yeah, thats a few facts and few lies about me ;]
