Greetings Earthling! Welcome to my Profile
My name Is Stuart and I live in a nice seaside town in Dorset on the south coast of England, I was born here and because it's quite nice I've never contemplated living anywhere else, although I still enjoy travelling about when the opportunity arises
At the moment I mainly shoot with a Nikon D80, I also sometimes use a canon ixus70 (for p&s situations) and also indulge my film urges using a Olympus XA2, Olympus Trip35, Lomo Smena 8M and actionsampler and also have an Instax 100 and a poloaroid 340 I use for some instant fun. I love cameras the more I can get hold of the better!!
You can find out much more about me and other links here

"I'm not sure what to say about Stu that hasn't already been said - his photos are consistently amazing and he has a natural flair.
I credit Stu with getting me into photography and constantly supporting me when I ask him questions about cameras 'n' stuff.
I can't believe I've waited till he's wrapping up his 365 to leave a testimonial - I've been following it since day one and should've done this ages ago."8th October, 2008

bigcrustyape says:
"What a delightful find Stu was. In fact... I don't remember who found who, but regardless, I look forward to seeing what he comes up with every day. As fellow 365er, he is an inspiration on so many levels. Stu puts so much time and effort into his photography often dressing up and painting his face in an elaborate manner. Where others are happy to point and shoot, Stu crafts his images to make each one a masterpiece putting most of us to shame. He is always incredibly supportive both as a photographer and as a mate. Quite often I have posted what I think is a pretty average shot and sure enough Stu is always there giving an encouraging comment. He constantly makes me laugh with his comments and Flickr is by far a much better place for having Stu around. Keep up the awesome work mate and if this is what you produce with a point and shoot camera, I cant WAIT to see what you shoot with your shiny new dSLR!"

Luke Stearns says:
"Seemingly endless creativity, with a heaping helping of genuine kindness.
Stu constantly amazes me with his experimentation, exploration, and passion for photography. I was introduce to Stu's work through the 365 Days project, and virtually every day is inspired. He is an absolute wizard of the creative self portrait. Of course, his exploration is not limited to this, however. He also allows us the pleasure of seeing through his eyes in a wide range of other brilliant photographs, doodles, and even the occasional song and dance!
Thanks for sharing with us Stu - I always look forward to your new photos and your comments!"18th March, 2008

Jah Lovely says:
"What to say about Stu..
He is inspiring, supportive, caring, creative...
I can't imagine doing this 365 journey without his witty comments and his constant reinforcement.
He can take the silliest photo (Nurse Stu is my fave) and then he can take the most emotion filled shots you've ever seen. I love the photos of his family..and of the little trips that he takes...
Stu....you are amazing."19th February, 2008

Stephen Poff says:
"Disco~stu is a breath of fresh air in the mornings. He's a continent away and our time zones differ by 6 hours, which means that by the time I wake up in the morning, I can almost always expect a comment from Stu. (I'm ashamed to say that I'm checking flickr mobile on my phone before I get out of bed... D'oh!)
Stu's stream is filled with personality. Sometimes he's standing alone by the ocean and other times he's donning his aviator's and his computer headset for an imaginary flight to God knows where. He's often humorous and witty and a lot of fun. I look forward to the day his travels take him across the pond. Maybe we'll get a chance to sever each others limbs in a lightsaber fight ;-)."19th February, 2008

Big Garlic Bullet says:
"Stu is someone who's photographs seem to get better and better with each passing day, and are always a huge pleasure to look at. His self portraits are excellent, with a nice mix of humour and seriousness with the occasional sprinkle of darkness. But to really appretiate his photographs, you should really check out his non self portraits. He has a great eye for his surroundings and knows how to capture it perfectly. Keep on rockin Stu!"

"Stu's work is testament to the level of quality that can be achieved with the right attitude and an inate artistic temperament. I look forward to his 365 shot every day, because you truly never know what you're going to get - every one is entirely different. It's as though Stu has a voracious hunger to try everything, explore every avenue that he comes across - which imbues his photos with an enthusiasm that is truly addictive. Huzzah!"

"Disco Stu is da man. he produces funny, poinient and interesting 365s on a regular basis. his other shots are very good as well. little would you know that he is only using a point and shoot camera, that shows how good he is. i can;t wait to see what he produces when he gets a big camera!!! (i know he has GAS bad). but the biggest complement i can give him is that he has become a friend outside of flickr on MSN. thanks stuart."
