Roger Morgan is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area. For over 45 years he has painted the mountains and flowers of California and the West. he uses multi-media including oil, acrylic, watercolor, bronze and metal. Roger obtained his BA and MA in Painting from the University of California at Berkeley, and he has had many one-man shows in the Bay Area. His work is in collections throughout the U.S. and Australia. In his acrylic paintings, Roger prepares the background of each painting by layering seven to ten coats of diluted acrylic paint, using a palette knife and brushes.
