I was 12 years old when I started taking photographs. My father teached me how to....He was a physics and photography teacher and his 1939 Zeiss Ikoflex 3 camera with big mirror (used for the Albada viewfinder) made so much impression that I wanted to know how to use it.
So he learned me the basics of photography and I got the first opportunity to press the shutter of his Zeiss. A Seconic lightmeter was used to get the right exposure. Photolamps were used when making portraits, big bulbs like the Philips Argaphoto and Photolita.
After a few years I got a camera of my own, a Ilford Sportsman.
Next step: a new Mamiya C330 Pro-F with a 2.8 80mm lens, and -after earning money doing some work in the schoolholidays- a 180 mm and 55 mm.

Nowadays I use both digital and analog. A Nikon D3 does the digital job, sometimes a Kodak DCS 760 (digital Nikon F5).
Analog is done with Mamiya C330s, RB 67 Pro Sd and RZ 67 Pro II. For 3D photography both -digital and analog- are used.
Epson and Flextight scanners are used to digitise.
