Pratico fotografia semi-profissionalmente e por hobby. Herdei de meu avô, João Antônio Faustini, a paixão pela arte da fotografia (e não fui o único, o que sugere que o talento para a fotografia corre nas veias da família...).

Experimentalista, não me dedico a um único estilo fotográfico. Porque, para mim, é preciso experimentar e diversificar. Afinal, a vida e o mundo são extraordinários e variados cenários repletos de sutilezas, sensações, sentimentos, fatos, lugares e pessoas a serem captados através de minhas lentes curiosas por tudo e por todos. Na minha visão, fotografar vai muito além de simplesmente "escrever com a luz": é, especialmente, uma forma de se tentar interpretar o que está por trás de tudo que se vê, para compreendermos um pouco mais a vida e tudo que a envolve.



I take pictures semi-professionaly and as a hobby. I inherited from my grandfather, João Antônio Faustini, the passion for the art of photography (and I'm not the only one, what suggests that the talent for photography runs in the blood of the family...).

Experimentalist, I don't dedicate myself to a specific photographic style. Because, to me, it's necessary to experiment and diversify. After all, life and the world are extraordinary and varied scenarios full of subtleties, sensations, feelings, facts, places, and people to be captured through my lenses, which are curious for everything and everyone. In my vision, photograph goes way beyond of just "writing with light": it is, specially, a way of trying to interpret what's behind everything we can see, so we can comprehend a little bit more about life and everything that involves it.
