The annual Rock the Campus for the Cure Concert at the University of Texas at Dallas is an event dedicated to raising awareness towards leukemia and other blood-based cancers. The concert was created five years ago by the Texas Chi chapter of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity in order to honor Bradley Steven Monks, a good friend and member who died of cancer in 2005. We raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLC), and have donated over $43,000 so far, making the event the largest and most charitable on the UTD campus.
