Eliz Sarobhasa is a university student and candidate design researcher from Vancouver, British Columbia. Her main focus is interaction design and the principle of linguistic relativity: the structure of a language affects the ways in which its speakers are able to conceptualize their world, i.e. their world view, in addition to the syntax of artificial languages.
Eliz's work has been featured on Beyond Robson, Metro Vancouver and the Georgia Straight. Her experiences ranges from portrait photoshoots, weddings, festivals, and candid street photography to whimsical narratives of happenstance 'slices of life.
Sarobhasa is currently working towards a personal project of workspace photographs from startup businesses in the technology industry. Her other projects have included capturing the street art scene from Vancouver, British Columbia and experimenting with polaroids, 120 film and x-processing.
