She understands her subject matter to such depth that even the simplest head shot she takes has so much personality you feel like you know the horse. And when the horse starts moving, there is nobody better than Sarah at capturing the action. Here racetrack photography makes me feel closer to the sport than I ever could other wise. And she balances the competition shots with the touching backside track moments. She takes time to watch the exercise riders and the grooms at work.
