I've been into photography since May 2005, when I bought my first dSLR to use on a two week trip to Paris. I found flickr around the same time. I mostly prefer nature and wildlife subjects.
Outside of photography (and work) I spend my time reading, running, and volunteering at a wildlife shelter. I try to travel as much as possible. I'm also usually taking classes and have a long list of subjects I've studied (but not always finished a degree in) - this includes astronomy, physics, computer science, forensic science and public health.
I'm also on twitter and Facebook. If you add me on FB and don't tell me how you know me (from flickr, etc), I'll ignore you unless we have common friends. :)
