My day job is as freelance and wedding photographer in and around Cardiff, South Wales, but you wont find any of that here. it is landscape and street photography that really inspire me and which I feel the urge to share with my Flickr friends.

On My Skirrid Hill project "Inspired and Inspiring. Your intellectually rigorous approach sends out a challenge to any of us who are feeling comfortable with what we do. And the images are wonderfully soulful, thought-provoking and atmospheric. The poetic analogies and connections are totally apposite and suitably complex. Thank-you.

Photography is as much a wonderful compulsion and an obsession for me. I love it and am driven to it.

"I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of nice bright landscape shots, it takes a lot for me to stop and take interest in such a shot. But for some reason Rob manages it every time. Not to say Rob's just a landscape man, take a moment to explore his stream and there's a huge variety on offer here from documentary, to night shots to some fabulous landscapes (i draw the line at flowers though :p). And having been fortunate enough to see the great man in action (taking photos!) it's excellent to see how he can picture a scene where normally we see the mundane, and yet he manages to transform it with such ease.

May he keep on providing us with such wonderful eye candy for many years to come.

    Thanks Rob."
