Matriculated Grey High School, Port Elizabeth. National Service - 6 SAI, Grahamstown. Studied at Rhodes University, Grahamstown. Worked for the Cape Provincial Library Service, based in Grahamstown. Thereafter at the University of Fort Hare in Alice between 1990 and 2006. Moved to Denver in May 2006 to join my wife here. Thoroughly enjoyed my first full winter in Denver which was colder than normal. The snow was a lot of fun for me, much to the disgust of most Americans, who seem to feel that snow is a novelty best done without.

Now (Dec 2007) into my second Denver winter. My Canon A95 stopped working :-( RIP good and faithful servant). Fortunately I finally landed a job, so could afford to buy a new camera. Have had it for 5 days, and find it's a very different beast from the A95. Will be a good transition to a DSLR, I hope.
