Equipment:

A photograph owes something to technical choices made by the photographer; in terms of camera, lenses etc. however these are always subordinate to the image’s idea.

As such I believe that all cameras are created equal, but some are more equal than others; each have their strengths and weaknesses. Application and final output should be the deciding factor and not the name on the box.

With this in mind I shoot exclusively with Canon equipment (as their larger sensor gives better results at hi ISO’s), using 1 series bodies (8.5 frames a second leads to a better burst selection) and L series lenses to ensure maximum image quality (my favourite lens being the 70-200 f2.8).

I shoot with natural light as much as possible, only using flash when the shooting conditions are too dark to freeze the action.
