Most of my pictures are Snapshots, a photograph that is taken in a short moment of opportunity with a cheap camera.
My goal is to take you with me and show you what i see and try not to bore you :)
I started taking pictures in 1956 with a Kodak Brownie switch to Yashica in 60 and stayed with them until i got my first Olympus C-2100UZ digital, i now use #1 an Olympus SP-570UZ # 2 C-2100UZ # 3 Olympus SP-510UZ i used it for wind-shield shots and just got a little Fujifilm F200EXR for my pocket camera, the EXR setting is amazing
I hope you enjoy my snapshots.

Melanie Lz says:
"I am proud to say that Robert Lz is my daddy,(I am 42 & yes, I still call him "Daddy", because I love him so much,& "Daddy" conveys more love than "Dad",I believe,so he'll always be my "Daddy"!)Anyway, I had the priviledge of growing up watching him take interesting and beautiful pictures,& being the subject of many. I am blessed that he took so many of my sweet son Andy, who passed away in 2006, at 15, I have hundreds of treasured pictures of him through his short years on this planet, thanks to my Daddy. I have always believed that he is THE most talented photographer in the world. Since Andy died, his site and pictures have given me such peace...I, like you can't wait to see the next one! He is the kindest, most intelligent, most talented man I have ever met, and his strong shoulders have never worn out from the weight of my problems over the years, I thank GOD for him!His love, great sense of humor,& talent come through his pictures, as well as his vast knowledge of basically everything on the planet!!! I am so thrilled that you all get to see his wonderful work, it really is a blessing to see the world through his eyes...and he loves it, so we all benefit! I just had to weigh in and sing his praises with the rest of you! GOD bless my Daddy and all of you...keep the pictures coming!!!

IwateBuddy says:
"Robert's photography is wonderful! No (well, maybe a little) fancy schmantzy pyrotechnics in the photoshop; what he sees you get! And he sees a lot! He travels to all the places I will never get to and finds the interesting hidden something that brings magic to a photo. Robert is also someone I would like to meet. His notes and comments are full of insight, humor and warmth. His attitude seems to be one of wonder at all that God has put at the end of his lens and joy that he can capture it and delight that he can share it with others!"

"I enjoy each of Robert's photos. He makes a wonderful tour guide for Georgia and other surrounding areas! His abilities to capture people
in very candid moments have inspired me to do the same. I learn a lot from viewing his photography and that mermaid's do exist! : )"28th June, 2008

Franks Photos says:
"Bob has a way of finding those long lost, far away, hard to find places that I have either visited or want to visit. Many years ago I used visit his stomping ground near the mountains, but now with age and too many other things going on, he always has a refreshing way of re-visiting all those places. Some of which, I still plan to find one day.
Thanks for all those far off and beautiful places that I constantly yearn for........we'll hook up one day!"27th April, 2008

Kenny Shackleford says:
"Robert has a way of humbling me. His photos are a documentary of life and places. I'm inspired by his eye for beauty. He is the best travel agent Georgia has. One look at the places he photographs and all I can think is how do I get there. The state should pay him for his promotions."

"Robert Elzey is an excellent flickr friend. He comes up with a seemingly endless stream of awesome photos of the most interesting subjects. Many of his photos are accompanied by descriptions requiring extensive research and understanding of the subject matter.
I highly recommend his photo stream. I am sure you will find many fine photos of interest. And you may even accidentally learn something. I sure have.
