Robert Evans, a native Californian photographer has achieved enormous success in his field since his studio’s inception in 1994. Robert is most notable for having photographed the weddings of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes as well as Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston. Robert also photographs personal events for Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy. Robert’s imagery has been featured and admired around the globe. With a headquarters in Los Angeles, Robert and his team travel nationally and internationally to document weddings, personal celebrations, corporate festivities and editorial portraiture.

Though his focus and expertise is in weddings, his work mirrors his passion for all life, all environments, and all peoples. With a clear vision and unique artistic eye, Robert’s work and training have earned him the honor of not only shooting the most intimate day in the lives of hundreds of couples, but several awards and prestigious titles as well.

Robert was chosen as the exclusive photography expert for WeddingChannel.com. He offers his advice to over a million couples a month via this site and has licensed hundreds of his images seen throughout its content. Disney used over 100 of Robert’s images on “How to Plan Your Dream Wedding”, in their Fairy Tale Weddings DVD. Robert is also a contributing writer for Inside Weddings Magazine and his photographs have often been featured as editorial content. The Studio City, Sherman Oaks, and Encino Sun Newspapers boasts Robert as their celebrity column photographer, enlisting him weekly to capture those interviewed and highlighted by the paper. LA Weddings and Your Wedding Day Magazine uses Robert as a contributing photographer, shooting an array of their editorial content as well.

Beyond Robert’s regular contributions, his images have been published in magazines and newspapers across the globe for over a decade. Subscribers, Content & Key Promotional Talent Will Be Used To Accelerate PurePhoto Member Growth

Westlake Village, CA – June 8th, 2010 – PurePhoto, Inc. (“PurePhoto”) and PhotographyMentor.com, LLC (“PhotographyMentor”), today announced that PurePhoto has agreed to acquire all of the assets of PhotographyMentor, the Los Angeles, CA-based online photography education and social networking platform.

Founded in 2008 by celebrity photographer Robert Evans and award-winning film and television producer Curt Apanovich, PhotographyMentor was the first website to offer premium subscription-based educational content to aspiring professional photographers.

“Over the last two years, PhotographyMentor was instrumental in helping thousands of photographers improve their skills by learning from other pros in the industry,” said Robert Evans. “We look forward to taking our original vision even farther by joining forces with PurePhoto.”

School memberships set to expire this year will receive PurePhoto Premium memberships and an extension through the end of 2010. Robert Evans, Curt Apanovich and other key team members will continue to develop educational content and promote PurePhoto.
