Robbie Mulder (1963, The Netherlands) is a conceptual artist and advertising professional in international advertising campaigns. As a former international journalist and copywriter, Robbie decided to create his own view at the world around him by photographing all different kinds of people. His images are always direct or funny, sometimes emotional and always real.

Being an advertising professional Robbie started to hate the processes in which people are being made more beautiful than they are. Robbie’s pictures are always real; you see what Robbie’s camera saw. Robbie will photograph anyone who is interested in exposing him or herself to the world. Free at last. Facial or physical beauty, age or race and sexual orientation are of no interest to him. Be real. Stay real.

Living in a Dutch red light district Robbie constantly photographs his direct environment. His environment is his studio. All photo shoots are performed in or outside his home or in places (wherever around the world) that are suitable for creating the utmost and realistic environment.
