Hi Folks,
I would like to thank everyone whose pictures I've viewed on Flickr for all the inspiration. I am in awe of the beauty I see everyday here. I have been moved to laughter and to tears. I have been provoked to think about and to view the world in new and different ways. I have been allowed to view some of the world's biggest spectacles and some of people's most private moments. I have seen life through other's eyes, and for that, I thank you. I hope that my photos contribute, in some small way, to the experience that is Flickr.
I grew up on a small farm near Smithton, Missouri and now I live and work in Detroit, Michigan. In between, I've lived in Columbia,Mo(for college), Kansas City,Mo, St.Louis,Mo and Chicago,IL.
I work as an Editor. If you live in the U.S. and have watched TV for more than a couple of hours in the past ten or fifteen years you have probably seen some of my work. It's mostly commercials and you can see some samples on DaddyNewt's Channel on YouTube
I am an avid, but amateur, musician. The last band I performed with is doublescale.
Sometimes, people ask me technical questions about my photos. I don't really like to talk about on flickr (it kind of takes the magic out of it) but, I will try to go into more detail on my blog at: daddynewt.com/
