THIS IS MY ORIGINAL WORK unless noted (like the few South Park pix 12/05). Non-original work is always attributed and generally well known online. Artist/Source attribution is expected from you. Flickr should not become the sniping flamewar dump that usenet is.

DO NOT TRY TO B.S. with web/net pics. I've been online longer than you have and can spot reposters a mile away.

Do not be insulted your pics aren't faved. Art is fleeting. To experience it is what being here is about, not collecting. I don't fave anything ever.

I post film pics without cropping, with few, and noted exceptions. Comp starts in the viewfinder. I do marginal post... not opposed to photoshop, but prefer to let a shot speak for itself. Heavy processing in digital pics is obvious and noted. Many digitals are cropped and lightly corrected in post. Crops are noted.

Current Cameras: Digital: new - Fuji finepixZ, 10MP. Not bad for the size of a deck of cards and takes okay mp4 vids. Canon Powershot a620, 7.1MP. Great macro, nice color, easy to use, cool artsy features, comfy, neat rotating display. Takes gorgeous vids, but in AVI format. new (to me) - nos Panasonic LUMIX DMC TZ1 with 10:1 zoom and big Zeiss optics, only 5.2MP but with that zoom... Very sweet pics, okay MOV vids. Olympus eVolt e300 DSLR, 8.1MP, with 2 Zuiko Digital Zooms and a ZD macro/portrait lens. Takes great pics... it's a dslr... not something to carry every day, but when i go pic hunting, it's awesome! :) Film: the original Olympus Stylus point and shoot, a great p/s camera. And a bunch of other oddball cameras... an Original Diana, a Holga Glass lens, a Lubitel TLR... all fun stuff. I've pretty much transitioned to digital, not because it's better, but for the immediacy and the ability to do my own post work, which matters to me.
