It looks as if I was taken from the bosom of my mother on the island of Jamaica and brought to the States to live with a white family. My skin slowly turned their color. And thankfully, the soul that was in my blood continued to flourish - as I grew up listening to Otis Redding, Sam Cook, Stevie Wonder, The Spinners and many others. Soon, reggae would provide the soundtrack to my life, with dub and roots playing the major roles. Music is the motivator as well as good friends, LOVE and food!
