"Richelle, the "out of tune" photographer/artist, is in fact IN-tune and uncommonly talented. What a gift! Her work is so engaging - it pulls you in, bites you, and doesn't let go. Check out "This could be your lucky day in hell" and "Jack & Ball Swing" - and my hands down favorite pic on Flickr - "Subterranean Secretary." Look closely, cause man... she's got it. Keep it coming, Richelle."

"When I first looked at the photographs that Richelle has taken, I was taken slightly aback ... animal bones, face masks, run-down buildings ... then I got a chance to see the titles and comments she has added and found a wonderful sense of humor about the world around her ...
Love it ... keep up the awesome work!"25th January, 2007

"Whenever someone tells me they've recently discovered Flickr, I say "You gotta gotta gotta see Out of Tune!" Her creativity... her sense of humour... her talent... her artistry... her stunning beauty... that's just the start of why you gotta gotta see her stuff.
It's uniquely surreal... way way WAY beyond your average everyday experience. She juxtaposes all kinds of unexpected images... and gives them all a sort of eerie supernatural charm.
The last person I directed to her page said he stayed there, exploring, for a long long time. Afterwards he told me that, if ever he met her, he'd be terrified to even speak to her.
"Why?" I asked. "Do you find her intimidating?"
"No," he said. "She's just such a genius. I'd be awestruck. I'd completely lose my voice."
I totally know what he meant by that.
So... if you haven't seen Out of Tune's stuff yet... go forth, and prepare to be awestruck."17th August, 2006

DerrickT says:
"Richelle's creativism uniquely narrows the circle of my state of being; given such as never shutting out the impressionisms of focusing the attention of one-given photograph, when each one of them has such a splendidly chamber-like feel to them, as if her imagery is of musical experimentation in the same degree of Stockhausen, Ligeti or Xenakis, yet always providing a sense of voluntary development, focusing the attention of a given object or subject.
One method of using one's mind, in the training and attention factor, is perhaps that one should listen to one voice among many, or one instrument among the many of a band or orchestra, but in this case, listening is viewing and viewing is being tapered to this wonderful folio of dark, velvety expressionism, as well as the multi-colored rainbow of ideas and endless idealogies that slice through our psyche's.
Continue to shine!"10th August, 2006

"Over the months I've been viewing Richelle's stream, I've learned much about her not only as a photographer, but as a child, as a wife, as a best friend, as a teen... her open honesty and creativity blend a mixture of lifes experience and passion into another realm entirely. I'm a total fan."

"Richelle is not one of those pretty girls who are using flickr as a "look at me" board. She takes photographs that inspire shutterbugs like myself. Her work is thought provoking and makes imaginative use of interesting settings."

"Richelle is just one of those people who not only is really, really nice and attractive, but very talented and has a flair for creating the most gorgeous tones and textures with her images. I'm always falling in love with her photos and thinking 'I wish mine were like that'."

"Be brave.
Leave your idealistic world behind you when you enter Out of Tune's world.
Get ready to go to places where you never been. Places that make you shiver.
Real places, where ghosts wonder. Mostly, ghosts of our souls. Horror movies? I prefer the creative feeling of OT. Her originality. Her magical touch that has the power to awake our deepest fears.
Keep your good work."5th May, 2006

"Definitely one of the most artistic photographers here on Flickr. All of her images tell a story, rather than existing as simple depictions of interesting things. With each image she posts I find myself studying every aspect of the shot, intrigued, and for that... I thank her."
