I'm Rich. (my name not financial status).
I'm 24
I study business at the University of Liverpool
I live in Wirral
I have been photographying since June 2008 (i'm aware photographying isn't a real word).
I use a Canon EOS 500D

I've always liked photos, always looked for big prints to hang on my wall and found that the same images were reproduced over and over so several million people have a photo of new york at night in their living room (i am one). So i set about creating photos which i will eventually put onto canvas if i think they can justify some wall space.

So one lunchtime i went into liverpool, to jessops, with no knowledge of anything camera, and found one of the cheapest DSLR's. As i was about to pay for it i started talking to the man next to me at the counter, who just happened to be a Sony sales rep. needless to say, 10 minutes of selling later i was changing the one i had picked up for a Sony, and he was getting the shop assistant to take a photo of him and me and my new camera (to show how brilliant he is at a sales meeting no doubt).

So that is how i find myself wandering around points of interest looking for the "living-room canvas" shot at every available opportunity.
