I am a scientist by training and trade, and at times an amateur musician and photographer. I live just north of Toronto, Canada.

I take photos primarily with my wife's Sony DSC-R1 digital SLR, and with a Sony DSC-W130 compact camera. I also occasionally use our Pentax MZ-50 film SLR (often with a 100-300mm variable zoom) or a variety of other compact cameras I have to hand.

Current photographic interests include:

Motorsports
Scott Dixon heads for pit lane, Toronto 2009

Nature
Widow Skimmer (female)

Zoo Animals
Moon Jellyfish

Places
Marco Beach, Florida

More of my best shots are in my Portfolio collection.

"I knew what I was doing when I offered my comments and encouragement to Richards beginner fractals and Vexer art.
I could see a artisticly inclined fractal artist to be born.He has grown
fast and find myself asking him how he done it! Not only in the surreal but a gifted photographer who gives of his wit in comments he gives
    to others. A interesting photostream!"
