Just a simple a guy with varied interests. Have wife, two kids, three grandchildren. I have always loved photography and just recently bought a new digital SLR. For years I had used a Canon AE1 Program and still think that it's a great camera. My new one is a Nikon D80 and I love it although I have to admit that owning it has made me realize that there is an awful lot about photography that I do not know. The past few weeks I have been trying to teach myself more about shutter speeds and aperture. I will say this about the digital SLR, its' LCD screen is somewhat misleading; something that looks great on that little screen in the field oftens leaves a lot to be desired in the final product back home.
