"I gotta Nikon camera, I love to take a photograph..."

So I've always loved taking pictures, who hasn't? But back in the glory days of film I was two things, 1. unemployed, 2. cheap. So it was kind of hard to "chase that feeling" However with the creation of affordable digital technology I jumped back on the bandwagon and proceeded to eat memory cards where ever I went.

I started with a Sony Cybershot, which was a fine instrument for the rookie class...until somebody lifted it when I was in Europe. I thus graduated to a marvelous D80 and have never looked back since.

Also yes I'm that american who lived overseas and never got over his time there and thus slightly annoys everyone with my endless tales of Euro-life. But at least I can admit it...right? (satire)

Many thanks to all comments, questions, or responses. This is my new favorite hobby...and only artistic outlet, so I gotta run with it! And I promise I've got a story for just about every shot I take, and if not I can make one up for kicks.

I'm sure I'll add more later.
