Just a guy who likes taking photos of my home, James Bay Canada.
I'm really into taking Photos of the Rupert River for the Time being due to its scheduled Diversion. So I'm just trying to Capture as many photos as i can.

I have a media background in formal training but my love lies within the still image. There's something about capturing a single image and being able to explain or evoke feelings that lie hidden within the person who captured them.

I'm hoping to attented formal training in the visual arts sometime this fall. I hope to take Photography this fall. I currently own a Nikon D700 ,Nikon D50 Nikon Nikon D200 SB-800 Speedlite, a manfrotto tripod, Nikkor 18-70mm 3.5-4.5 lens and a Nikkor 70 mm 4-5.6 lens Hoya Filters ND8 and R72 I used to own a Nikon Coolpix 990 before it got stolen years ago. I've owned tradional film based SLR's (Nikon), but since sold them way way back. I'm planning on purchasing a highend Digital SLR soon but I might hold off and buy a Medium format digital camera this fall.

The software I currently use for my Photos are Nikon Capture NX ( really useful), Adobe Lightroom (great for large libraries of photos) and Adobe Photoshop (Avid user since V3.0), I primarily use my recently purchased Nikon Capture NX. It does basically what i want without compromising my photos EXIF data. I'd say its the best purchase I've made in software in a long time.
I'm currently planning a project involving the soon to be diverted Rupert River. I can't say much right now but I'll keep you informed as the project goes along.
(update) hopefully within the next couple of days (jan 08) I'll be making aerial photos of the Rupert for the next generation of Crees.
I current use 2 online sites for my location planning for shoots. I use Sky view cafe and the Space and Environment Center for my Auroral Activity.

Feel free to add me to yahoo messenger if you'd like , my user name is below.

***On a side note, I've pretty much added with every one of my photos with geotags.*** So i'f you're wondering where in heck I'm from take a look.

What's fun is that this medium is subjective and one man's junk is anothers art.

Flickr has been great... its given me the means to express some of the most intimate parts of me.

"Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution."

"Not only stunning beautiful but his photos are also full of showing a lifestyle of the north of Quebec, Canada, I feel suddenly on another planet and at the same time like I was there myself, looking, living it.

His photos do ask for digging in again and again, each time new beauties, stunning moods discovered."
