Well, I'm a [now former] college student with a digital camera and a laptop. I'm not an art student, anthropology rather, so I don't really know what I'm doing, but I like it that way. I'm definitely prey to artsy photography cliche, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I like to just see something I like, and take lots of pictures, and see which turn out best. LOTS. I got a big memory card, and I usually empty it out after every session. I like to take tons of candid shots of friends, for the hilarity that can result from catching a split second that, to the eye, didn't seem so funny. Photography is something less than a hobby for me, but more than an idle interest, and I'm not too consistent in pursuing it.

Other than that, I'm a proud West Seattlite and commuter student, work in a family (that is friends with my own) owned deli, and live with my parents (for the time being). I've started biking to school (gas is more obscene here than most of the country) and am finding that between that and the bus, I'm getting exposed to a lot more of my city, and finding a lot more things worth taking pictures of. So, expect a blend of goofy friend shots, civic pride "beauty of Seattle and the NW" shots, and random close-ups or odd angles of things. Any brilliance I might come up with is completely by accident, but let me know, I like to know if I'm doing something right.
