I am a big fan of old Hollywood and reading books on this glamorous era--a current pick of mine is "In The Arena" by Charlton Heston. For any other fans of old Hollywood, I highly recommend it! **From January to March 2010, I and my family experienced an intense harassment campaign, identity theft of our images, defamation of character and online impersonation. This took place because I am African-American, and because I come from an interracial family. The individual/s behind the activity are from what I gathered, intensely racist and white supremacist in beliefs. The cyber harassment and racist activity began here on Flickr by attacking my deceased relatives, and continued for weeks on end, on the social network forum Yahoo Answers, where the identity theft, occurred. This individual [or individuals] committed theft of several watermarked photographs from my Flickr album against my warnings of unauthorized use.

As a lover of vintage photography, African-American studies, and vintage photography of women, I thought it a nice idea to create galleries with the theme of "Vintage Black Women".
