I am a young, evolving artist who has previously worked in an international setting, including India, South America, and throughout the United States. My medium is photography. Currently, I am working towards exhibiting my work, especially to promote global awareness about promote social change.

After graduating from the University of Miami in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications, I have continued to work for agents for social awareness and change, including a South Florida newspaper, and international non-governmental organizations. As America becomes increasingly vulnerable from a global recession, I think it is especially important to expose viewers to the constructs of the third worlds – which bear the brunt of financial scarcities everyday. I believe these are the times when art speaks the loudest, and the most clearly, to express a communal hope, rather than defeat.

Not only am I looking to exhibit my work, but I am also looking for funding for my future international photography projects – so that I may continue to sustain myself as an artist, and spread awareness about the circumstances of third-world countries to such progressive ones as the United States. Eventually, I hope to also photograph more extensively throughout the United States as well, to spread awareness about marginalized populations within this country to the rest of society.
