Requiem bij Voorbaat (translates roughly as 'Requiem in advance') is an art-project from Elena Beelaerts (www.elenabeelaerts.nl) a dutch artist. This 'profane' Requiem will have seven parts.

Part I: ONTFERM U
The first part, "Onferm U" ("Have Mercy"), will take place in Amsterdam from the 24th of October until the 30st of November 2008. On November first there will be held a parade: 'a Walking Exhibition with Music', in which artpieces will be carried through the streets of Amsterdam, accompanied by two fanfares who will play new pieces composed for this occasion.
