I am an artist and I love life. I enjoy photos telling a story, breathtaking pictures and aesthetic stuff. I am interested in exchange with other interesting people and looking forward to your nice and critical comments to my pics. And I am curious.

I am fascinated by the little things, the details of everyday life. I love to give my attention to the mundane.

"Every visit to remember moments photostream is an opportunity to open your mind and see the world in a different light. I am reminded with each photograph how much I would love to walk the streets with him on occasion. His ability to discover a unique reality in the most unexpected places is truly amazing. But Dietmar is not just an explorer, he is a creator as well. Study his still life photography, and you will find a vision that is at times bizarre, and always phenomenal. His photos have charm and humor, and are reflective of a gentleman who enjoys the essence of living. And I can not speak highly enough of his generosity towards others here on flickr. His comments are forever thoughtful and honest. I respect him as both a photographer and as a friend.

Dietmar's photography has a special voice, and it is one that flickr is fortunate to have."

" "remember moments", dietmar, and I met over his shoes and it was not a propitious beginning.
between my loud mouth shooting off about his pictures of his shoes and the language differential (dietmar is german) we almost did not see eye to eye long enough to be real contacts!
Dietmar (who claims his English is nicht so gut. Ha ha ha) has a keen knack for the autobiography.
Everything is very personal to Dietmar and everything he shoots becomes his story and such a wonderful adventure it is!
Abandoned sofas, architectural oddities, absurdist meals, hardware and the assorted live animal all tell the tale of a man obsessed with life, animate and inanimate, and the boy-like wonder that draws him into the alleys and byways of his neighborhoods.
I always wonder what one would find in his pockets were we to search him after one of his walks.
Optimistic to a fault and with a dry sense of (sometimes dark) humor I always feel that I have touched a very real person through his pictures.
Dietmar's commentary on the world is realistic but positive and he opens the door for us to align our attitudes with his and feel a community against the vicissitudes of life gone a little haywire.
Look through his photostream for a thoughtful but smiling take on life and the scenery that makes it worth living.

"remember moments is one of my favorite flickr contacts for several reasons. Dietmar's photos are always food for thought, inviting us to linger and discover all there is to discover, which sometimes is a lot, even in a simple thing such as a discarded couch or a rust stain. His meals and dishes, both real and surreal, are always a feast for the eye, and while only the 'real' meals have any nutritional value, the surreal meals are original and creative - as are all the still lifes in this stream - and well executed. Last not least I appreciate Dietmar's wit, keen eye and honest feedback when viewing his fellow flickrites' photos. flickr would not be the same without remember moments."

"Dietmar introduced me to flickr, and I am very gratefull for this new addiction, so writing my first testimonial ever should be about 'remember moments'.

Most photos made by Dietmar are rather silent, and leave me speechless. I could tell you about his artistbooks and other artwork, often with more text, but I feel I should stick to the photographer.

A facinating pot-pourri of doors, windows, gates, bricks, tables and chairs, ordinairy things one useally doesn't look at twice. Dietmar has a keen eye for what is special but unnoticed and unappriciated. To me a daily-eye opener, I look different at doors, windows, gates etc. after viewing remember moments-foto-stream.

Dietmar's fotos are always a surprise to me, daily life as it is, interesting and often beautiful even if it is not."
