Have just recently plunged into photography and i have to say being on Flickr is reason enough to go out and take more photos. Am as amateur as they come but sometimes take a photograph that astonishes me also.

I believe Ansell Adams when he says

"There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs"

I particularly like taking photographs of nature...butterflies, birds or animals in their natural habitat and close ups of flowers growing on the plant alive to the sun and the wind.. majestic trees and tiny creatures..all of nature stuns me with its beauty.

Buying a Nikon doesn't make you a photographer. It makes you a Nikon owner....author unknown....i like that one..:)
having said that i love my canon ixus and its delightful macro mode.....has given me much joy and some amazing photographs....

Anything and everything is possible.
