Me:
I'm a writer and a former web developer and print professional. I like to take photos and I like to paint. I drink more absinthe than I probably should. I have a lot of tattoos and love books. I have a fondness for office supplies. I garden with a passable ability. I don't watch much TV and I have a terrible memory for movies. For ten years I helped take care of lions, tigers, and (wait for it) bears. Yes, really. I'm an American expat living in England. I often forget I'm naked in front of open curtains. That's probably the ADHD.

Photography:
I have worked my way up the digital camera food chain and am typically toting around a Canon 450d and one of three lenses: Canon 50mm, Canon 18-55 or a Sigma 70-300. (Before that I was shooting a Canon 350d for a couple of years.) As for 'point-n-shoots' I still adore my little 4MP Sony Cybershot (it's tougher than a Timex watch), I make do with a fairly new Nikon CoolPix L15 8MP, and infrequently monkey with a Sony Cybershot DSC-F707 (the tilt body rocks). I've recently gone hot and heavy into Through the Viewfinder photography and currently use a 1939 Ensign Ful-Vue as the vintage half of my contraption. I'm also dabbling in film pinhole work with a P-Sharan SQ35.
