FREE media courses and workshops have produced, promoted and exhibited a cutting edge documentary made entirely by young people. The documentary focused on young people's priorities for change in youth provision following the announcement of the £79m London Youth Offer

Summer Uni film and TV students made the documentary, young journalists and web administrators have been telling the world about it, trainee events managers put on the final show, marketing students got bums on seats and freshly trained public speakers made sure that everything went alright on the night at the showcase at Channel 4 in August 2008.

The Mayor of London and the grey suits in government have been scratching their heads about how to improve the lives of young Londoners for ages. But then the penny dropped – they finally realised that the only people who know the answer to this, are, wait for it, yes – young people! Genius!

So, they’ve emptied their (huge) wallets to create this ‘London Youth Offer’ of £79 million – all to be spent on places to go and things to do for teenagers – and they want YOU to decide what to do with all this lovely dosh. Yay!

So what do you think your community needs? What do you love about it and what do you hate about it? Are your weekends and holidays packed with fun-filled activities or do you find yourself hanging around on street corners kicking cans with nothing to do?
