I've always loved photography and have just begun taking my own pictures. My camera lens provides another window (besides the printed page) through which I interpret the world around me. What you find here is a mosaic of the various things, people, and places that have captured my attention at any given moment. If it seems like my work is all over the map it's because I'm exploring everything, seeing everything, shooting everything.
As for the name "Redzenradish," it's inspired by a haiku penned by Japanese poet Kobayashi Issa (1763-1828). It challenges me to see things newly no matter where I am as the smallest, most ordinary thing may become a vehicle for transformation:
The man pulling radishes
pointed my way
with a radish.
