When I started this account, I was a student at PSU in International Relations and Economics. I was just starting out with photography, sort of. I did own an old Minolta X-9 SLR back in the day. I raised the funds to buy it used along with a couple of lenses by selling two guitars. It was just play.

Now, after completing my MA in Political Science at Rice U., I'm exploring the world of cookery auto-didactically. At first, I thought about hiding my attempts at artistry by not posting images here. But upon further reflection, I thought it would be a source of inspiration for others as well as myself to see the progression from somewhat incompetent cook to something.....better?

I'm open to messages of all kinds, especially constructive criticism. Hit me up.
