Born and raised in the Philippines, I was uprooted from my motherland and transplanted to New York City in 2000 where I have taken roots since then. As a queer immigrant Filipina American, I organize Filipino American youth and workers around issues that directly impact us. I utilize my photography to capture the victories and hardships of working class people in NYC and in the US.
