I'm a freelance medical and biological illustrator in SE Michigan who's working on her PhD in Anatomy. I'm also making all sorts of other art based on everyday objects, nature, etc. on the side. I'm also an academic for life... I can't seem to get out of the classroom. :)

I am copyright saavy and will not hesitate to track down inappropriate uses of my work. Obviously, I love creating art, but, it is my profession... it's not free for the taking. If you're on the up-and-up and are collecting photos for artistic inspiration, etc., that's cool.
